God: Come I send you to Pharaoh to bring my people. Exodus 3:10
Moses: Who am I? Exodus 3:11
God: But I will be with you.. Exodus 3:12
Moses: If I come to the people and they ask me your name, what shall I say? Exodus 3:13
God: I AM WHO I AM. Tell them, “I AM has sent me to you.” Elders of Israel will listen to you. Exodus 3:14-22
Moses: They will not believe or listen to my voice. Exodus 4:1
God: Your staff will be a snake when thrown to the ground. Your hand will be leprous when you put it in your cloak. If still they don’t believe, take water from Nile, pour it on dry ground and it will be blood. Exodus 4:2-9
Moses: I am not an eloquent speaker. Exodus 4:10
God: Who has made man’s mouth? Is it not I, the LORD? Go and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak. Exodus 4:11-12
Moses: Oh, my Lord, please send someone else. Exodus 4:13
God: Your brother Aaron shall be the speaker. I will be with his mouth and your mouth and will teach you both what to do. He shall speak for you to the people. This staff you shall do the signs. Exodus 4:14-17
Many times we forget that we are just vessels (jars of clay) which God uses to accomplish his purposes. Do not look within or around to determine whether you are fit. It is the Lord’s work.
He who has begun a good work in you shall bring it unto completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
