LGBTQ+; A celebrated Evil

Where does the lgbtq+ stand in the light of the words below?

“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created he them.”

Genesis 1:27 NKJV.

These words are taken from the Bible, which is not the words of mere mortals but immutable, infallible, sure, and pure Word of God Almighty, creator of the universe. If they were words of men, I would not disturb your mind with such a subject. But it is not so. Sadly, we live in evil days where the Word of God is neglected and people don’t care what the Bible says.

There is a sexual revolution all over the world which goes by the name, the LGBTQ+ movement. LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer plus any other group may come in. This movement celebrates their “freedom”, so called, on the Month of June and their symbol is the Rainbow. They call it pride Month.

The Bible commands Christians to “abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.” Romans 12:9 NKJV. The Bible is the standard for the truth. It is not what I think. Let us always cast our fancy thoughts on how and what God should do. When God calls something sin, it does not matter who else supports it. When God speaks, our feelings, thoughts or experience does not matter. The words of the preacher are very remarkable, “there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9-10KJV. So it is which LGBTQ+ movement. The Bible has records of same-sex marriages and behaviors. However, how long the name LGBTQ+ sounds, it is just about same-sex relationships.

LGBTQ+ and The Bible

The same-sex marriage is not alien to the Bible. We have it in Sodom and Gomorrah. Though men and women have started twisting the scripture, claiming the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was not about homosexuality but because of lack of hospitality to strangers, a careful look at the story gives us the full story of how Sodom was. When the angels had not yet laid down to sleep, men of Sodom came to Lot’s house, both great and small, and surrounded the house demanding that angels be delivered unto them to rape them. The same case applies to women. Even after being struck with blindness, instead of going away, they wearied themselves to find the door. Jude 1:7 Jude makes it clear that Sodom engaged in sexual immorality and went after “strange flesh”. God has said, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Leviticus 18:22. It was the practice in the heathen cultures to practice homosexuality. The Bible is very clear that God created Male and female, nothing in the middle.

The so-called proponents of LGBTQ+ who claim God is love ignore other attributes of God. I don’t know how one can’t read the Bible and still affirm something which is exactly opposite of what it teaches. These are spoken by Paul saying that the wrath of God is revealed on all who hold the truth in unrighteousness. They know all that has to be known about God, but they do not change their ways. Their foolish hearts are darkened and thinking to be wise, they become fools.

There is a lie that the world is becoming better. No doubt about technology and knowledge and learning had increased. But what about man’s sinful nature? Is it any better? No, the truth of Genesis 8:21 still holds, “…the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth.” Men have gone ahead to try to disapprove what God has written in His Word. Do not trust anything that is contrary to the Bible. Do not be wise than God for the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. Settle it at once, that whatsoever Bible calls sin is sin, no matter the evidence the science gives. The so-called science says that these people have genes that make them have these attractions. Is this true? What does Bible say?

Paul writing to Corinthians mentions unrighteous people will not enter the kingdom. He mentions homosexuals among the list. He ends the verse by telling Corinthians that such were some of them. If some of the members of the Corinthian church were homosexuals, then it is not gene disorder as many claim. It is sin and the antidote for sin is Gospel.

I don’t say that some of these people do not have a strong attraction towards same gender. It is because we are fallen creatures. They are not created that way. It is because of sinful nature. The only Hope is in Christ Jesus to save them. Sadly, many who flatter themselves to be Christians, instead of pointing out the danger these people are in, they tolerate sin and give approval to this wicked behavior. “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight.” Isaiah 5:20-21 NKJV.

As Christians, let us maintain that Bible is the standard for the truth. No matter what the world calls us, let us not join them in their error. Let us not flatter sinners to hell, but point them to Savior. Christ does not only forgive sin but also breaks its power of it. As sexual purity is much needed today, it is very important to set LGBTQ+ as a red flag, because it is seen as normal. It is satanic and damning. No wonder there is no mention of male and Female in their agenda. It is a plan of the Evil one to destroy completely what God has established. Shalom.
