Warm Greetings. We are thankful to God for this ministry that He has enabled us to do. Pilgrim Meditations is a collection of reflections, thoughts, and meditations on scripture and life issues of a Christian pilgrim as he journey to Zion. My name is Denis Musembi and I am the founder and chief editor of this site and Pilgrim Meditations’ social pages. I was born again in 2019 while reading Thoughts for Young Men by John Charles Ryle. Before then I had not heard Gospel articulated clearly to me and I was ignorant of God and Bible. I used to think that God would receive me because of my ‘good works’. Upon reading that book and many of the sermons from puritans, by the grace of God, I came to realize that I was a great sinner and I was at enmity against God. I was able to see that by works of the law no flesh shall be justified before His sight. I came to learn that Jesus, the only begotten son of God came down from heaven, took on flesh, lived here on earth and died on the cross for my sins. I came to learn that He was and is calling all people to believe in Him and they shall not perish. He granted me faith to believe in Him and desire to serve Him. Having been impacted so greatly a christian literature, I developed desire to share my faith with other people online who might not know about God and Good News of Jesus Christ. In 2022 February, by grace of God i created Pilgrim Meditations to reach out to the people with Gospel and with christian thoughts on many life issues. Our mission is to set before the Christian pilgrim some Biblical reflections which may prove challenging, consolatory and encouraging — as he journeys up from this dark, weary, wilderness world, leaning on his Beloved, Christ Jesus. May God’s blessing attend our humble effort to minister comfort to the downcast, strength to the weak, and courage to those who have set their faces towards their glorious eternal home. We are nothings, just unworthy servants of Lord Jesus Christ, pointing people to Him. Far be it from us that we may point people to ourselves. We hope that we may always cry with John, “He must increase and i must decrease.” We are not special people, no but men and women of passions just like you. Pray for us, that we might be faithful in the service of God. Our prayer is that you may know Him and the power of His resurrection being conformed to His sufferings, that you may cling to Him and know that you are complete in Him and He is enough for you. And that you may know that scriptures are sufficient and you do not need extra revelations. That you may resist the devil, overcome the world and mortify the deeds of the flesh by the help of the Holy Spirit. We pray that He who is able to keep us from falling may keep us grounded in the faith and will present us at the last day without blemish before His sight.
