A man named Bishop Johanna has been trending after a video of him touching a woman inappropriately during what he termed as deliverance. In the bizarre video, which I would not advise anyone to watch, the so-called pastor is seen applying oil to the middle-aged woman touching her while casting demons.
The video caused a lot of criticism to Bishop Johanna and was shared online widely with many people wondering what is happening to the churches. Some of the netizens expressed their concerns for the churches to be regulated.
The Kikuyu pastor in his defense, said that he was only touching the women’s genitals for healing purposes. People wondered if he would also do the same to men or allow his daughters and wife to be touched that way.
As I write this, I am very saddened by what professing Christians have become. Sadly, the Kikuyu pastor used that woman to fulfill his lust. That is not Christianity. Nowhere in the Bible is what that lunatic supported. If he can do that before the camera what about behind the curtains? Are we surprised?
I am speaking about this issue because no one else is speaking about it. Many Christian leaders have not spoken about this kind of manipulation. There are a lot of manipulations in the name of Christ in Kenya and the world. Dear reader, if you are just following your pastor or church without common sense, you will fall prey to the doctrine of demons. You should be a Berean. Do not merely believe what people say. Take out your Bible and Read to be able to distinguish false teachings and sound doctrine.
You Shall Know Them by Their Fruits
Jesus warned us in Mathew 7:15-29 to beware of false prophets. He said they come to us in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. False teachers do not come carrying banners declaring what they are. Instead, they cover their true identity. Because the false teachers are out to deceive Christians, if they come in clothing of any other form, they won’t be able to. So they put on a mask, a sheep’s clothing so that sheep think they belong to them. Jesus says that although they may appear like sheep, it is just the clothing, inwardly they are ravenous wolves. In other words, they are out to destroy and kill the sheep.
Then How Shall We Then Know Them? Jesus says that we shall know them by their fruits. Just as a good tree cannot give a bad fruit and a bad tree gives a good fruit, so is the same with false teachers. Their fruits will be evil. Although false teachers can put on sheep’s clothing, they cannot give out good fruits. By their works, we shall know their identity.
Bishop Johana has exposed himself that he is a ravenous wolf and not a sheep. If you are attending his church, you need to leave immediately.
