Does Bible allow for homosexuality?

As the LGBTQ+ campaign is championed to us on every way, there is a question that will always come up. Does God allow homosexuals in heaven? What does Bible say about Homosexuality? Can someone be LGBTQ+ be a member of the church? Does God allow someone to do transgender?

In this piece, you will get to understand what the Bible says about these matters.  The Bible does explain all these matters. Before I begin, I must tell you that the Bible is the only true source of truth. If you need truth, you will find it in the Bible – not media, internet or science, so called.

God created only two genders in creation. The Bible says, ‘So God created man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.’ We can see clearly that there is only two genders which are determined by God not man. These two are male (man) and female (woman).

We also learn that gender is not as fluid as many people today suppose. You can only have one gender and not the other.

HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN

The Bible makes it very clear that a man should not sleep (engage in sexual intimacy) with another man and a woman should not engage in sexual intimacy with another woman. The Bible calls it Abomination.

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

Leviticus 18:22

This single verse is very clear that homosexuality is an abomination. One word from the Bible is better than 500 words from men. So if you think being gay or lesbian, or anything related to LGBTQ+ is not a sin, then you are greatly mistaken.

The Story of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for engaging in this very sin. Jude says they were going after strange flesh. So if you think you are safe in the LGBTQ+ community, just know you are sitting at the gates of Gomorrah. These two cities were destroyed because of this sin. When angels came there, they wanted to rape them.

DID JESUS SPEAK AGAINST HOMOSEXUALITY

Yes, Jesus spoke about homosexuality. When Jesus spoke about the context of marriage, he mentioned that marriage was between male and female. By stating this he meant that marriage is only between a man and a woman.

And also, all scripture is inspired by the word of God. When Paul talked of homosexuals not entering heaven, he was inspired and Jesus would just say exactly that statement. So if you think there is a difference between Jesus and Paul, you are again very lost.

IS HOMOSEXUALITY A SIN ISSUE OR A SCIENCE ISSUE

 Homosexuality is a sin issue and not a science. Basic biology will teach you a man has XY chromosomes and a woman XX chromosomes.  These are the two genders known to uncorrupted science.

Homosexuality is a result of the fall of man in Genesis 3. It is against nature, against God’s order, and an abomination. Homosexuality, just like all kinds of other sins, is because of the fall of Adam who dragged the whole creation into sin.

What Is the Solution to Homosexuality?

The only solution to homosexuality is to preach the Gospel which is the power of God unto salvation. This should go in hand with a warning to those who engage in this activity.
