Lord God, Protect us from Pride

Numbers 6:22-27

The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’ “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

Lord God, we praise your name! We are so grateful that you have put your name on us through Christ Jesus. Through His gift of the Holy Spirit, our seal in Christ, we look to you and desire to be a people that is after your heart; boldly and truthfully sharing the gospel message. Protect us from pride, deceit, and buying lies that seek to destroy our faith and trust in you. Thank you that you are with us, Lord God, and thank you that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:39)
