List of Some Sound Churches in Kenya

With the rise of prosperity gospel and wolves masquerading as the shepherds of the sheep, it seemed good to us to compile a list of some faithful churches which have been preaching the whole truth of the whole bible to the whole congregation.

We intentionally left number 38 blank to represent any sound church that preaches the true gospel but it was not captured here. To compile this list we looked at the centrality of God’s word in preaching alone. Be sure you may find services different from church to church but faithful preaching of God’s word is what is important.

In Kenya, Christianity is a mile wide but an inch deep. According to Statista, the 2019 census revealed that 85 percent of Kenyans profess to be Christians. But a close search will prove that a very small number of those know something of the biblical gospel. The majority of people are trapped in Roman Catholicism which has for many centuries been known to teach heresies and traditions of men. Others follow New Protestant Reformation teachings of Name It and Claim It, the Word of Faith movement, and charismatic churches.
